Ella M. Russell was one of the Democratic party candidates for the primary race for the State House of Representatives for the forty-eighth and forty-ninth districts for Snohomish County, Washington, in 1914. She did not win. In 1924 Russell was the Republican candidate for State Senator, but she did not win that race.
