Edith McIntosh
Edith McIntosh, the Republican party candidate, was elected as the County Superintendent of Schools for Ouray County, Colorado in 1908. She was elected to a second term two years later. In 1910 McIntosh ran on the Republican and Progressive party tickets. Before her election McIntosh was a school teacher in the state. She was born in Canada and immigrated to the U.S. in 1891.
