Maggie Macleod was the Citizens Party candidate for City Treasurer in Idaho Springs, Clear Creek County, Colorado in 1909. Her opponent, the incumbant, Augusta Woodward of the Taxpayers party won the race. Macleod was active in various women's organizations in the area. She applied for a patent for a household appliance she invented.
