Esther N. K. Bradford was elected to the School Committee of the Nineteenth Ward of Philadelphia in 1909. She was a candidate of the Keystone and Democratic parties for re-election in 1911. Bradford was active in several reform activities including the National Consumer League and a visiting nurses association.
