Anna L. Wolcott Vaile was elected a Regent of the State University of Colorado in 1910 and served until 1918. Vaile was an educator and active in the women's club movement. Her brother, Edward O. Wolcott was a U.S. Senator for Colorado from 1895 to 1900.
