Arnold, Melvina H.

Mrs. M. [Melvina?] H. Arnold ran for the office of County Superintendent of Schools for Laramie County, Wyoming in 1870. She came in second receiving about 40% of the vote. Arnold had been instrumental in raising funds for one of the first school houses in the area. She was a member of the Advisory Committee for the National Woman Suffrage Committee.
