Frances Nacke Noel was a socialist-feminist candidate for a seat on the Los Angeles City Council in 1913. She was a prominent suffragist and club woman. Noel did not win her campaign. Some resources indicate that Frances Nacke ran for a political office in Colorado in 1896.
