Nesbitt, Mrs. Keesee C.

Mrs. Keesee Nesbitt was elected County Treasurer for Hansford County, Texas in 1916. She was reelected in 1918. In 1920, Nesbitt was elected County Clerk and Clerk for the District Court. Her husband died in July of 1917 shortly before the birth of their child, and while she was already serving her first term in office, this may have contributed to her continuing to work in office for two more terms as a source of financial income.
