Mrs. A. Allison was the Prohibition Party candidate for State Superintendent of Public Instruction in Kansas in 1894. She received about 1.70% of the overall vote. It is possible that Allison had run unsuccessfully for the position of County Superintendent of Schools for Republic County in 1888.
