Von Cort, Charlotte A.
Charolotte A. Von Cort campaigned as a presidential elector from New York's Eleventh District, for the Equal Rights Party in 1884. She supported Belva A. Lockwood for president and Marietta Stow for Vice President. Von Cort's husband invented a submarine torpedo shell and Lockwood represented Charlotte in her petition to the U.S. government for payment of the invention.
