Ollie Vivian was elected County Superintendent of Public Instruction for Lake County, Colorado in 1904. She was elected to anadditional term in the office. In her first campaign in 1904 Vivian ran as a Republican candidate, but in all her subsequent races she was a Democratic candidate. In 1912 Vivian lost to Marion Crispell, the Republican and Progressive Party candidate.
