St. John, Mrs. M. E.

In 1885 Mrs. M. E. St. John was elected County Superintendent of Instruction Martin County, Minnesota. Mrs. St. John is on the list of individuals who took a child, Charles E. Smith, age 7, from one of the so-called New York City "orphan trains."
