In 1910 Delia L. Keeler was elected as the County Superintendent of Schools for Whatcom County, Washington. She served for two terms. Keeler was educated in Kansas and Washington, receiving her master's degree from Columbia University. After her second term as County Superintendent, Keeler taught at Western Washington College in their teacher training program.
