Baker, Lettie I.

Lettie I. Baker was elected County Treasurer for Cherokee County, Texas in 1916. She was reelected in 1918 but instead took a position working for State Comptroller O. Smith of Henderson in Austin. Baker maintained a detailed scrapbook during her campaigning, which included correspondence from supporters.
