Mary A. Gunn was elected County Recorder of Iron County, Utah in 1906. She was re-elected in 1908, 1912, and 1914. Gunn ran as the Socialist party candidate in 1916, but received less than five percent of the votes cast.
Linnie Telford was elected as County Recorder of Cache County, Utah in 1908. She was the Democratic candidate and won against the female Republican candidate for the office.
