Gertrude Wahl was elected as the County Superintendent of Schools for Barron County, Wisconsin in 1917.  She resigned from the office one year later.

Neprud, Maud

Maud Neprud was elected as the County Superintendent for Vernon County, Wisconsin, 1917. She later was appointed to the State Board of Control in charge of charitable and penal institutions.

Berg, Helen M.

Helen M. Berg was elected as County Superintendent of Trempealeau County, Wisconsin, in 1917.

Hardie, Mae

Mae Hardie was first elected as the County Superintendent of Schools for Jackson County, Wisconsin in 1917. She was an educator in the area for over 50 years. Hardie retired as County Superintendents went into the 1950s.
