From collection Candidates
Anna B. Brandt was the Republican candidate for State Superintendent of Public Instruction for Colorado in 1902. During the campaign one report listed her as a leading club woman in the state and involved in education. The race was undecided, with Brandt claiming victory against the Democratic and Peoples party candidate Helen Grenfell. By the end of January 1903, Brandt conceded the race. The following month Brandt was appointed as deputy register of the state land board.
