Minnie B. Knifong was the Republican candidate for County Superintendent of Schools for Fremont County, Wyoming in 1912. She lost to the Democrat, Ella M. Farthing. Knifong was a Republican candidate for the same office again in the primaries in 1914, but lost to Republican Verna E. Wells. Knifong served as a clerk of elections in her home town of Lander, Wyoming.
