Cannon, Annie Wells

Elizabeth Annie Wells Cannon was a Republican candidate for State Representative from Salt Lake County, Utah, in 1913. Cannon served until 1915. The following year she ran as a Republican candidate for State Senator from the Sixth District, but did not win the race. She was elected again in 1921. Cannon's relative Martha Hughes Cannon was the first woman in the U.S. to serve as a State Senator.

Ann Cooper, a Republican, was elected County Recorder of Garfield County, Utah in 1912. She was elected to additional terms in 1914, 1916, and 1918. She ran unopposed in 1914 and 1916. 

Dorrity, Electa

Electa Dorrity was the Progressive candidate for County Recorders of Beaver County, Utah in 1912. She did not win the race. She ran again two years later and was elected to the position. Dorrity was re-elected for two more terms.

Forrester, Barbara

Barbara Forrester, a Progressive candidate, was elected County Recorder of Carbon County, Utah in 1914. She was elected to a second term two years later. In 1918 Forrester ran for a third term as the Republican candidate, but she lost to the Democratic candidate.

Mabel Hacking, the Prohibition party candidate for County Recorder of Uintah, Utah in 1912. She was re-elected to the office in 1914. Hacking ran for another term two years later, but did not win the race. She ran again in 1918 and won that race.

Mary A. Gunn was elected County Recorder of Iron County, Utah in 1906. She was re-elected in 1908, 1912, and 1914. Gunn ran as the Socialist party candidate in 1916, but received less than five percent of the votes cast.
