Amelia "Millie" Witt, a Democrat, was elected as County Treasurer for Wasatch County, Utah in 1916. She was widowed soon after starting her first term in office, but ran for another term in 1918. Witt ran for a third term in 1920 but was defated. She was later a school teacher in the area after serving in office, and later was a librarian in the area.
