Bean, Minnie D.

Minnie D. Bean was elected as County Superintendent of Schools for Pierce County, Washingtion in 1918. She was re-elected for a second term two years later. Bean had been a school teacher in the county, school principal, and served as the Assistant County Superintendent from 1916 onward.
