Stair, Ella S.

Ella S. Stair, a Republican, was elected as County Superintendent of Schools for Yakima County, Washington in 1882. She ran for re-election in 1884 and lost to her Democratic rival by only three votes. For many years Stair was a School Teacher and Principal in the area.
