McMahon, Maybelle
Maybelle McMahon (or M'Mahon) was the Democratic candidate for City Treasurer of Leadville, Lake County, Colorado in 1917. She won the race against her opponent, Eva A. Brittain. McMahon was re-elected to the office in 1917. In January of 1919, the City Clerk resigned and McMahon was appointed as Deputy City Clerk, while retaining her position as Treasurer. She ran for the office that April and was elected. McMahon was born in Canada. She was widowed sometime after 1910.
