Mary McQuade
Mary McQuade was the Democratic candidate for City Treasurer of Glenwood Springs, Garfield County, Colorado in 1913. She won the primary and the general election, beating Katie Holland, the Independent candidate. McQuade ran again in 1915 and won against the Independent candidate Ida P. Bryant. Both women ran for the office again in 1917, with victory for McQuade. She ran again for the office in 1919 and was re-elected for a fourth term, but lost to the Greater Glenwood ticket candidate.
