Ostling, Olive L.

Olive L. Ostling was the Progressive candidate for City Treasurer in Leadville, Lake County, Colorado in 1913. She won the race over her two rivals Democrat Bridget T. McAleer and Socialist Catherine Moor. Ostling had been nominated for the office the year before, but had resigned before the election. After several court cases, which reached the State Supreme Court, Ostling was removed from her job by the city of Leadville in October of 1914.
