Colcord, Lillian

Lillian Colcord was the Democratic and Peoples Party candidate for County Superintendent of Schools for Summit County, Colorado in 1897.  She won the race against two other candidates, including Republican incumbent, Jennie M. Jones. Colcord had taught in local schools before her election. Colcord was again nominated for the office in 1906 and one her race against her Republican opponent, Lillie Guyselman.
