Lucy Spooner was elected as County Superintendent of Schools for Pepin County, Wisconsin in 1907. She only served in the office for two months. By September of 1907 her sister, Fannie L. Spooner was appointed to the position. Fannie served for several terms. Both Spooner sisters had been schools in the county before becoming Superintendent.
