Katie M. Harris was elected County Clerk of Stafford County, Kansas in 1914. She was re-elected to a term in 1918 and served for additional terms in the 1920s. Harris served as Deputy County Treasurer before she was elected to the Clerk position. In Kansas County Clerk's also served as County Assessors.
