Weeks, Nellie

Nellie Weeks was a candidate for town council in Cimarron, Kansas in 1901.  She was part of a "women's ticket" with four other candidates for city offices, which some reports considered had a good chance of success. Many of the women candidates also worked together in the local women's club. Weeks was the vice president of the local branch of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union.
