Cornelia Johnson was the Republican candidatltaor County Superintendent of Schools for Delta County, Colorado in 1906. She did not win the race. Two years later she was appointed as the Postmistress of Cedaredge, Colorado. In the fall of that year Johnson was again the Republican candidate for County Superintendent of Schools. Johnson lost that race as well. She died unexpectedly in 1909.
