Sara B. Easterly was the Democratic candidate for County Superintendent of Schools for Gunniston County, Colorado in 1908. Easterly won the race. Easterly ran again in 1910 and once more in 1912. By May of 1914 Easterly announced that she would not seek re-election that fall. She went on to become an assistant instructor at the State Normal School.
