Marie Hollingsworth served as the City Treasurer of Silverton, San Juan County, Colorado in 1900. The following year she was the Democratic candidate for County Clerk and Recorder in San Juan County. Hollingsworth had been appointed as Postmistress of Silverton in 1886 and served until 1890.
