Edna J. Keeran was elected Justice of the Peace for Princeton Judicial Township, Colusa County, California in 1914. She successfully ran fora second term in 1918. Keeran had also worked as an insurance agent, and by 1920 was the Postmistress in Princeton. Sometime between 1910 and 1920 she was widowed.
