Carrie V. Anderson was the Republican party nominee for County Recorder for Wright County, Iowa in 1910. Anderson ran a vigorous campaign traveling around Wright County by automobile as well as driving alivery wagon. She attended school picnics to promote her candidacy. Beating the incumbent and established politician for the party nomination, Anderson went on to win almost all district by a two to one margin. Anderson was known for her work and support among state farming communities and cooperatives.
