Caroline A. R. Roberson was appointed as Town School Superintendent about 1907 in Sandgate, Bennington County, Vermont. About 1909 she was elected as the Town Clerk and Treasurer, and served for six years in that office. Roberson succeeded her mother, Sarah M. Randall in the Clerk and Treasurer office. Roberson may also have served as the town postmistress, also succeeding her mother in that post.
