Angeline Allison was a candidate for County Superintendent of Schools for Republic County, Kansas in 1888. She was one of two women who ran that year. Allison received just over ten percent of the vote. She may have run for office again in 1894 as the Prohibition party candidate for State Superindent of Schools.
