Amanda S. McKee was elected City Treasurer of Montrose, Colorado in 1903 for a one year term. In 1904 she was the Taxpayers' candidate and 1905 she was the candidate of both Republican and Democratic parties. McKee was elected for a additional terms in 1907 and in 1909.
