Roulston, Jane

Jane Roulston was a Socialist Party candidate for San Francisco school board in 1896. Roulston was a teacher, and part of socialist and literary circles in the city. She later joined the International Workers of the World (IWW), the "Wobblies". Two other women were Socialist candidates in the same race.
