Lennie Beavers, a Democrat, was elected Lincoln County (Colorado) Superintendent of Schools in 1916 and 1918. In 1916 she defeated the Republican candidate, Mrs. Pearl Bishop. She resided at Hugo. Beavers was born in 1880, in Iowa, and died in 1969. At age 45 she married Fredrick H. Blasey.
