Flora C. Braddock, a Republican candidate in 1916, for the office of County Superintendent of Schools for Ouray County, Colorado lost to Democrat Alma Brockway (who then served the 1917-1918 term of office). Braddock was born in Wisconsin, in 1872. She was married with four children.
