Elder, Alma

Alma Elder was elected County Superintendent of Public Instruction for Hindale County, Colorado in 1904 and was re-elected for a second term in 1906.  Elder had been appointed to the County Superintendent office in March of 1902 when the incumbent was unable to fulfill the entire term.

Donahue, Marie V.

Marie V. Donahue was one of the candidates for State Superintendent of Public Schools in Colorado in 1912. Donahue ran in the primaries as a Democratic candidate, but did not win. She had served as County Superintendent of Public Schools in Teller County for at least two terms.

Mitchell, Willa Nora

Willa Nora Mitchell served as County Commissioner of Schools from at least 1901 to 1919 in Pike County, Missouri. She defeated Carl E. Latimer in this election.

Pickles, Harriett

Harriett (aka Hattie), Pickles was elected County Superintendent of Public Schools in Clark County, South Dakota. Pickles served as Superintendent from 1905 to 1916.

Rogers, Etta M.

Etta Rogers was elected as County Superintendent of Public Instruction for Kit Carson County, Colorado in 1904. She served from 1905 to 1908.

Nelson, Eda C.

Eda C. Nelson was serving her second term as Burt County, Nebraska superintendent of schools at the time of her death in the spring of 1910. She was succeeded by Nettie C. Nelson.
