Cordelia E. Hays [aka Cordelia Hays Dolan] was elected County Superintendent of Instruction for Mono County, California in 1903. She served until 1914. In 1911 Hays married and used the name Cordelia Hays Dolan. She was preceded in the position of superintendent by her mother Allice M. Hays.
