Eugenia Almira Wheeler Goff
Eugenia Goff was nominated for school board of Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1894. She was supported by women in the city in her race for the school board, along with endorsements from the Populist, Prohibitionist, and Democratic parties. However, she lost the election, coming in fourth with 13164 votes. Goff was a trained educator and the inspector of state training schools for teachers in Minnesota. In 1876 Goff published a textbook, Minnesota: Its Geography, History, and Resources. With her husband Eugenia Goff ran the National Historical Publishing Company and produced historical maps.
