Elizabeth M. Craise ran for Representative for the State House from Arapahoe County, in Colorado in 1894. A year later she was the Prohibition party candidate for City Clerk in Denver. Criase also campaigned for University of Colorado Regent in 1902. Eight years later Craise was a candidate for County Commissioner of Denver County's fourth district. She lost the race, coming in last out of four candidates.
