Sadie Cameron, the Socialist party candidate, ran for county recorder in Iron county, Utah in 1902. She lost to her Republican colleague Emily Crane Watson. All the candidates for this office were women, including Emily Crane Watson, and Democrat Jane Ann Eyre.
