Williams, Edith

Edith Williams, a Republican, was elected the Gilpin County School Superintendent in 1916. She was re-elected in 1918 defeating Ella Dickerson, the Democratic candidate. Williams was married and had children. They lived in Central City during her two terms of office, 1915 through 1918.
