Dr. Aldora J Tyler was one of the three women nominated to the school board of Clinton, Illinois at a woman's convention that met for that purpose in 1892. She was possibly the only female physician practicing in DeWitt County, Illinois, and also served as the president of the DeWitt County Medical Society.
