In 1900 Jennie P. Slater was elected as the Democratic nominee for Cach County, Utah County Recorder. In 1902 and in 1904 Slater lost in each election. Hher Republican opponent was Rebecca Eames. On February 13, 1909 Slater, who lived in Logan, Utah, was appointed a notary public.
