Ada Burney Rodman
In 1908 Ada Burney Rodman was elected County Register of Deeds for Franklin County, Kansas. She was re-elected in 1910.  Rodman also ran for Kansas State Treasurer in 1920.  Rodman had previously been a teacher in the state for fifteen years.  After 1910 she also served as a Probate Judge Pro Tem, and a clerk in the office.  These were probably appointed positions.
