Daisy C. Allen
Daisy C. Allen, endorsed by the Democrats and Progressive party, was elected to the Utah state house in 1916. She served one term and was from Salt Lake city. While in the legislature Allen supported legislation raising the age of consent for girls to eighteen, and setting equal pay for equal work for women. Along with other women legislators of that term Allen supported prohibition in the state.
